Omega Base 1.1 is released

Omega Base 1.1 is released today with new improvements, you can check it on sourceforge:

• Support for JBoss and Glassfish servers. It keeps supporting Tomcat 7 and above.
• Some layout improvements.

Omega Base 1.0.9 is finally released

Omega Base 1.0.9 is released, containing a new software architeture. Now the sources uses MVC standarts.

• The Model layer now runs into PostgreSQL, as PL/PgSQL functions, for more cleaner and speed.
• The JSP pages now uses JSTL for a much more clearer source. 
• There's some improvements for mobile devices too. The page now has a mobile version for low resolution devices.
• The sources are now  based on NetBeans instead of The Black Toolkit.

Omega Base 1.0.9 will be released soon

Omega Base 1.0.9 will come will some new features. 

I´m working with Stored Procedures and JSTL to make the source code much clearer. The page design will be completely new, with support for a mobile version of the page for smartphones, etc.


The code is now based on NetBeans, no more The Black Toolkit.

There will be much improvements in design and portability for mobile devices. 

 

Omega Base 1.0.7.1 is released!

Omega Base 1.0.7.1 is released yesterday containing new bugfixes on the installer.
 

Omega Base continues to be easy to install, scalable and secure database, based on open source programs, like Dia and LibreOffice.

Omega Base 1.0.7 is released!

Omega Base is released today containing new features:

• Some new design and icons.
• The DB now uses PostgreSQL's partial indexes to give still more scalability, and less disk space usage for indices.
• Some installer bugs was fixed. It will no more to require that the database be in UTF-8 encoding. Avoiding database creation problems in some cases.

Omega Base 1.0.6 is released

Omega Base 1.0.6 is released today, containing new improvements and bugfixes.

Omega Base 1.0.6 will be released on October 2013

That's right, Omega Base 1.0.6 will be released containing some more improvements:

• Select many documents to delete them.
• Mass import files, to documents and attachments. Files already imported are just updated, not created another attachment. (Omega Syncro).
• Send comments about documents, and send email.
• Manage the max size of attachments.
• Attachments will have version control also.
